SUMMARY:Holiday Comedy Club
DESCRIPTION:Big Comedy Shop run comedy sketch and improvisation workshops for young people aged between 6 and 12. Experienced facilitators and (of course) funny comedy performers lead the school holiday sessions where students take part in a drama-style workshop but where the focus is on “the funny”. \nChildren get to create their own comedy characters and sketches based on their imagination and observations of the world. Big Comedy Shop is passionate about encouraging young people to express themselves in a safe and fun environment. \nThe aims of each sessions are to: \n• provide a safe space for creativity and play \n• develop communication and social skills \n• build self-esteem \n• enhance confidence \n• allow children to feel seen and heard \n• make our students feel like they matter \n• HAVE OODLES OF FUN! \nSessions will be running this Half Term on: \nWednesday 29th May\, Thursday 30th May and Friday 31st May! \nEach Half Term Comedy Club day runs from 10:30am – 3:30pm \n£35 per day per child (plus a small transaction fee). \nBig Comedy Shop director Ali Kahn is an award-winning comedy actor and writer who can be seen as series regular Meg Watson in CBBC comedy Still So Awkward and is a new main cast member in the CBBC comedy sketch show Class Dismissed. \nHave any questions or queries?
