Join us at Stretford Public Hall on the last Sunday of every month\, from 10am to 12pm\, for our Repair Café. \nOur team of skilled volunteers can help support you to fix a range of items – from small electricals and household gadgets to clothes and more. It’s a great way to reduce waste\, learn new skills\, and connect with your local community over a cuppa. \nNo need to book – just drop in! We strongly recommend arriving by 10am to make sure there is enough time for you to be seen by one of our volunteers. \nRepairs are free\, but donations are welcome to help keep the café running. \nTo find out more information about what repairs will be possible at each cafe\, please check our socials or give us a call on 0161 9891689. The festival brings together local artists\, musicians\, performers\, businesses and community groups to celebrate the creativity and spirit of the town. \nThroughout the day and into the evening\, a wide range of events take place across locations including Stretford Public Hall\, Stretford Mall and Victoria Park. The programme features live music\, DJs\, art\, film\, workshops\, markets\, food and family-friendly activities. \nOrganised by the Stretford Town Centre Forum in collaboration with local partners and volunteers\, StretFest aims to showcase local talent\, support independent venues and bring the community together through a shared celebration of arts and culture.

DESCRIPTION:Stretford Children’s Theatre’s aim is to elevate local children and young people through the performing arts; and to enrich their community through public productions. They achieve this aim through providing affordable\, high-quality\, accessible\, fun weekly drama/choir sessions for local children/young people (aged 4-16yrs). Allows them to develop their talent and potential\, increase their independence\, well-being\, and expand local creative opportunities. \nSessions are delivered by professional theatre and music practitioners who are specialists in working with different age groups. Fees are deliberately low to ensure sessions are as accessible to as many children as possible. \nStretford Children’s Theatre was originally founded in 1945 by Bertram H. Holland and was embedded in the community for more than 35 years.
