DESCRIPTION:Fancy helping to keep Stretford looking its best? \nCome along on Sunday 28th June for a community litter pick and help make a real difference to our local area. It’s a great opportunity to get outdoors\, meet neighbours\, and spend some time doing something positive for the community. \nThe litter pick will run from 10:30am to 1:00pm\, with Stretford Public Hall as our base throughout the session. Feel free to drop in at any point during the morning and stay for as little or as long as you like. \nLitter pickers\, gloves\, bags\, and other equipment will be provided\, although you’re welcome to bring your own. \nThere’ll also be free refreshments available at the Hall for everyone who comes along and lends a hand. \nWhether you’re coming on your own\, with friends\, or bringing the family\, every helping hand counts. Join us at Stretford Public Hall on the last Sunday of every month\, from 10am to 12pm\, for our Repair Café. \nOur team of skilled volunteers can help support you to fix a range of items – from small electricals and household gadgets to clothes and more. It’s a great way to reduce waste\, learn new skills\, and connect with your local community over a cuppa. \nNo need to book – just drop in! We strongly recommend arriving by 10am to make sure there is enough time for you to be seen by one of our volunteers. \nRepairs are free\, but donations are welcome to help keep the café running. \nTo find out more information about what repairs will be possible at each cafe\, please check our socials or give us a call on 0161 9891689.
