Thriving Communities Trafford is an exciting community health and wellbeing project, funded by the Arts Council.

Stretford Public Hall are working alongside St John’s Centre and the North Trafford Primary Care Network, and six other local community groups, to improve access to community activities for local residents.

The project will bring together community groups and local residents to design community-based activities that promote health and wellbeing.

The projects will be delivered by eight local groups: Be Bolder; Cyril Flint; Friends of Victoria Park; Old Trafford Creative Space; Rehoboth for Families; String of Heart; the Trafford Urban Fitness Collective and Stretford Public Hall.

The aim of Thriving Communities Trafford is to improve the links between health services and local community groups in North Trafford. For more information about other projects funded by the Thriving Communities programme, visit the National Academy for Social Prescribing website.
