Archiving the M/other Work: Creative Movement Workshops for Parents

An event every week that begins at 11:30 am on Friday, repeating until September 23, 2022
The ‘M/other Work’ addresses those who are active caregivers towards their children. ‘M/other’ implies the experience of otherness that may arise from being a parent.
These workshops aim to offer easy movement activities, creative expression, connection and play for you and your child. The intention is for participants to express the artist in them, alongside other parents and children. Merging our caregiving roles with our creative ones.
Each participant will be given a notebook to archive their rambles, poems, free writes , scribbles and everything else that comes to them in or between sessions.
Sessions involve: movement, play, creative writing, mark making.
Movement activities are simple. No previous dance experience required.
Refreshments provided.
If you are interested, they are hosting at Stretford Public Hall on, September 9th, 16th & 23rd 2022.
