Cinema screening: Matilda the musical (PG)

Join us for this special half-term cinema screening of Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical, based on the award-winning musical written by Tim Minchin.

Matilda the Musical is an inspirational musical tale of an extraordinary girl who discovers her superpower and summons the remarkable courage, against all odds, to help others change their stories, whilst also taking charge of her own destiny. Standing up for what’s right, she’s met with miraculous results.

Newcomer Alisha Weir takes on the title role in this new star-studded adaptation alongside Emma Thompson as the evil Miss Trunchbull and Lashana Lynch as the lovable Miss Honey. The film is rated PG.

Doors open at 2.00pm and the screening will begin at 2.30pm.

There will be a bar selling cold drinks and snacks, and an interval approximately half way through the film.

This is a subtitled screening.
