Older People Celebration Day

Stretford Public Hall, together with Trafford Carers, would love to celebrate our wonderful ‘older generation’ this International Older Persons Day. We’re inviting Trafford residents aged 60+ to join us on Wednesday 1st October, from 1–5pm.

We know the term ‘older’ can be tricky, but please believe us when we say we see you as a huge asset to our community—and that’s exactly why we want to celebrate you. To mark the day, Stretford Public Hall and Trafford Carers are treating you to FREE fish and chips, plus some joyful singalong entertainment. All you need to do is turn up and let us spoil you!

Come along on your own or bring friends—everyone will be made very welcome. Get ready to sing along with Simon and Hannah from our house band, Stretford Uke, and other fantastic performers.

The only thing we ask is that you book a free ticket in advance so we know how many meals to prepare
