Olga (15) Ukraine fundraiser film screening

March 31, 2022 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

UK cinemas are uniting in support of Ukraine with a series of preview charity screenings of Olga, a new film about a young female Ukrainian gymnast forced to train in exile. From each ticket sold, a donation will be made to support Ukraine via the Disasters Emergency Committee.

Olga tells the story of a 15-year-old Ukrainian gymnast, training for the European Championship in preparation for the Olympics. Olga is forced to move to Switzerland from her home in Kyiv where her mother works as an investigative journalist reporting on the Euromaidan protests.

All profits go to the Disasters Emergency Committee.

The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of crisis overseas. The profits raised at our fundraiser will be split equally between two DEC campaigns – the Ukraine Humanitarian Campaign and the Afghanistan Crisis Appeal.
