September 18 @ 6:45 pm - 10:30 pm

This Is England is a 2006 British coming-of-age drama film that follows the story of Shaun, a 12-year-old boy living with his widowed mother in the East Midlands of England.

The film is set against the backdrop of 1983, a time marked by social unrest and economic hardship.
Shaun is alienated and often antagonized at school and around town.

He finds acceptance and a sense of belonging within a local skinhead group, where he is guided by the charismatic but troubled Combo. As Shaun becomes more involved in their world, he witnesses escalating tensions and prejudice, forcing him to confront difficult truths and ultimately question his own identity and loyalties.

The film explores the dangers of extremist subcultures and the impact they have on young people’s lives.
