Local partners will help bring the programme to life with complementary activities, from after-parties to panel discussions, making each night a full celebration of sound, screen, and culture.

A joyous, emotional, heartbreaking celebration of the life and music of Whitney Houston, one of the greatest female R&B pop vocalists of all time, tracking her journey from obscurity to musical super stardom.
EmeraldLens CIC invites all women to stay after the screening to celebrate International Women’s Day together, with a joyful movement workshop and a disco.
Guests are warmly encouraged to dress up in their best 80s-inspired outfits — think bold colours, sequins, big hair and statement accessories — to fully embrace the spirit of the era and add to the atmosphere.
