Local partners will help bring the programme to life with complementary activities, from after-parties to panel discussions, making each night a full celebration of sound, screen, and culture.
Indigo Girls: It’s only life after all (12A)
The documentary “Indigo Girls: It’s Only Life After All” follows the lives and careers of the band Indigo Girls, exploring their activism and personal stories. Directed by Alexandria Bombach, the film includes interviews with audience members who speak about how the Indigo Girls have impacted their lives. It also delves into the band’s history, from their early days in the mid-1980s to their current activism and personal challenges. The documentary combines archival footage with contemporary interviews, providing a comprehensive look at the Indigo Girls’ journey and their influence on fans and society
The screening will be followed by an interactive workshop hosted by Special Guests The Alabaster Queen and DJ Sandra D.
