Stretford STRIDE Slogan Workshop

Do you have an interest in fashion. art, design & activism? Would you like to explore issues of safety, belonging and active opportunities for women & girls in Stretford/Trafford? If so come along to our Stretford STRIDE Slogan Workshop at Stretford Public Hall 24th June 2023.

Working as a group, exploring the Rights to the Streets themes you will create several statement-making Slogans that represent and express the opinions of our community. Your slogan will be presented on placards during the session.

These Slogans (at a later date) will be applied/embellished onto one off garment’s and will feature in our community dressing up box to be worn during our Stretford STRIDE event in September.

We will be joined by special guests Georgina Housley & Katherine Brownbridge who will be sharing their ‘DRESS’ project and inspiring the session.

Local arts facilitator Rosarie Walsh and fashion design lecturer Becky de Lacy will be facilitating this 3 hour workshop.
