The Stretfest

‘The StretFest’, a free, neighbourhood-wide festival for Stretford has released a jam-packed programme of events and activities for its first ever outing on Saturday 6th July, 11 until late.
Celebrating Stretford’s vibrant culture and community, The StretFest will feature diverse music, art, dance, and interactive workshops, unfolding across Stretford’s favourite venues and public spaces.
The festival will be spread across five ‘zones’ with over 15 venues participating including Stretford Public Hall, Victoria Park, Stretford Mall, St Matthew’s Church, Stretford Library and across the ‘Stretford Strip’ – the cluster of independent businesses on Chester Road.

At Stretford Public Hall we have activities from 11am-11pm. Kicking of with Longford choir and Singing together opening the festival with a performance in the Ballroom at 11am, then we have BOSSIN’ kids meditation, nail painting and self care in the Old Library and a Film Screening of Motherhood Unscripted in the Underhall. Outside we have a BBQ, Coffee van and out carpark will become a party space with Cafe Del Car-Park (brought to you by local DJ collectives and Colby’s). At 6.30pm there is a Silent Disco (Silence Of The Jams) in our Ballroom till 10:30pm.
