Women’s Night Walk

December 3 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm

On Friday 3rd December, we are inviting the women of north Trafford to join us to call for an end to violence against women and girls, by joining our Women’s Night Walk.

In partnership with the Women’s Equality Party and the Women of Ryebank Fields, the walk will pass through a number of Stretford’s green spaces, including Longford Park and Turn Moss Playing Fields, as we call for greenspaces to be safe spaces for women and girls.

The walk will begin from Ryebank Fields at 6.30pm and will cross Turn Moss Fields. Please dress appropriately in sturdy shoes and bring a torch if you have one!

The walk will end at 7.30pm with a candlelit vigil outside Stretford Public Hall, where we will light candles in memory of all of the women murdered this year.

The walk will finish with an after party and fundraiser for Trafford Domestic Abuse Service (TDAS), with music, poetry, drinks and dancing in the Stretford Public Hall ballroom.

Dogs are welcome on the walk but not in the hall.
