Our Poverty Truth Commission has been running since May 2022. Our Commissioners have come together every month, getting to know each other and sharing their experiences of poverty.
Our Commissioners identified three key themes that they wanted to explore:
- Access to advice and information
- Isolation
- The Cost of Living
We formed three task groups to explore these themes in more depth. The result of the task groups’ work will be some recommendations and ideas for action that the Commissioners have developed together.
We will be sharing our recommendations when the Commission closes in March 2023, so watch this space!
