Charity cinema screening in support of Ukraine
Join us on Thursday 31st March for our charity cinema screening of Olga to raise money to help the people of Ukraine!
Our screening is one of over 200 cinemas across the country who are supporting the campaign; cinemas include Cineworld, Curzon, Everyman, Odeon, Picturehouse and Vue chains, as well as the independent venues, like ours.
Olga tells the story of a 15-year-old Ukrainian gymnast, training for the European Championship in preparation for the Olympics. Olga is forced to move to Switzerland from her home in Kyiv where her mother works as an investigative journalist reporting on the Euromaidan protests.
So, let’s get together and raise as much as we can for those in need!
All profits from the event go to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of crisis overseas. The profits raised at our fundraiser will be split equally between two DEC campaigns – the Ukraine Humanitarian Campaign and the Afghanistan Crisis Appeal.
