Join our amazing team of volunteers bringing joy to Stretford!

Stretford Public Hall is a community-owned, multi-purpose building.

We have an enthusiastic team of volunteers who get involved with the day-to-day running of the building, helping with events & activities.

We’re always looking for new volunteers to join our team. We have lots of different volunteer roles and we welcome volunteers of all ages, regardless of previous experience.

Right now, we really need:

  • Energy Champions. Help Stretford Public Hall to improve its energy efficiency and reduce our carbon emissions in a new project.
  • Hall Helpers. We need more volunteers interested in gardening to help us maintain our pocket park, every other Friday morning. No experience necessary!
  • Sound Technicians. Looking to use your sound technician skills to do something amazing? Help us ensure our monthly community events are delivered successfully

View all our volunteering opportunities on our website and apply online or call into the Hall for more information. Paper application forms are available on request.

NEW! Drop-in volunteer advice sessions every Tuesday 11:00am-1:00pm (from 4th October)

Our Volunteer Coordinator Kaf Bays is available to talk to about volunteering across Stretford, not just at the Hall.

Pop in for a chat and a cuppa and find out more!
