Join our clubs! We’ve got loads of groups you can get involved with that are sure to uplift you, give you time to learn and develop new skills, and meet new people. Take a look…

Art club

Tuesdays (term time only) 10am – 11.30am Pay what you can, suggested price £3

Our art group is a relaxed and supportive space to get creative, where you’ll have a pencil in one hand and a brew in the other. The club is run by local community artist, Molly, who says, “we are all creative” and “there is no right or wrong way to make art – your mark is like your voice, and it matters.” Each week a new theme is set for the group to respond to, or you’re welcome to bring your own ideas and projects to work on. All materials provided.

Gardening Club

Fortnightly Tuesdays 10am – 12noon FREE

25th Oct / 8th Nov / 22nd Nov / 6th Dec

Our volunteer gardeners tend to our pocket park between Stretford Public Hall and Kingsway. They’re doing such a great job that the Royal Horticultural Society this week presented them with a ‘Level 4 – Thriving’ award for keeping our area looking lovely! They would love a hand from anyone interested in having a go! No experience or equipment necessary. Please check in with our reception any time between 10-12 and they’ll direct you.

Sewing club

Every Friday 10am – 12noon FREE

Our friendly sewing group meets in the foyer every Friday. They are a self-led group, so they work on their own projects, which tend to be embroidery and applique. Come along if you enjoy doing hand sewing techniques with brews, good company, and a few laughs! Materials available if needed.
