Kickstart opportunity: reception & events assistant
Thanks to support from the Kickstart scheme, we are now recruiting for a new events and reception assistant, to join our team at the hall.
Kickstart is a government-backed scheme, aimed at supporting young people into training and employment. The scheme is open to young people aged 16 – 24 yrs, who are receiving universal credit.
We’re looking for an assistant to join our events and reception team. The assistant will provide support with the running of activities and events at Stretford Public Hall. They will help on reception and with the organisation of events.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, hard-working and helpful, and is happy to help other staff with various tasks when needed. The successful candidate will have good IT skills and be confident using computers. Training will also be provided.
Usual working hours will be 9.00am-5.30pm, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Some occasional weekend and/or evening working may be required.
Hourly rate: £9.50 per hour
