New cocktail menu launched!

At the suggestion of our volunteer team, we are very excited to have launched a new range of cocktails.

To mark the launch, a brilliant turnout of 14 volunteers attended our refreshed hospitality training. Was it the exciting opportunity to hang out with staff or the chance to try our new cocktail range which enticed them to give up an evening?

Either way, it was a lovely chance for everyone to get together and learn from each other. Thank you to volunteers for the idea of adding cocktails to our menu!

Our Event Coordinator Carson has created a bespoke range just for the hall. Here they are (pictured from left-right):

  • The Gentrifier (Whiskey, Amaretto). You can practically taste the house prices increasing. Basque in the blend of squat beanies, barista oat milk, and late stage capitalism. This is our most expensive cocktail.
  • Traffic Coney Negroni (Gin, Sweet Vermouth, Campari). Dark and stormy, like the night a shirtless man on Chester road threw cones into the canal.
  • Mall Mohito (White rum, Sugar, Lime juice, Soda water, and Mint). Known to old timers as the Precinct Mohito.
  • Sex on Stretford Beach (Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Cranberry, Orange). After a few of these, you’ll be feeling frisky for a romp on our infamous sun loungers.
  • The Essoldo (Vodka, Blue Curaçao, Lemonade).  Stretford is sooooo art deco with the world’s bluest, unused building.

Our cocktail list will now be available at all future events, so head to the hall to sample one soon!
