Our volunteer team is growing – join us!

After a short pause in recruitment, we’re pleased to announce that volunteer applications are now open again at Stretford Public Hall. Our volunteer team has grown significantly in recent years, with over 100 people now supporting activities, events, heritage work, community support and projects across the Hall. With demand for our services increasing, we’re excited to welcome fresh faces into the team.

Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Whether they volunteer regularly or just dip in when they can, our volunteers help run weekly activities, support public events, welcome visitors, assist behind the scenes, and play a vital role in keeping Your Hall open and thriving. If you’re looking to meet new people, grow your confidence, learn skills, or give back to your community, volunteering is a brilliant way to get involved.

We have a range of roles available to suit different interests, skills and schedules. No previous experience is needed – just enthusiasm and a willingness to be part of a friendly, supportive community.
