Participate in creating the ultimate window display

Stretford Street Art Club (SSAC) will host a free, family friendly art session this coming Sunday, 17 July, at Stretford Public Hall, between 1pm and 4pm.

SSAC are calling for local people to help them create their last ever window exhibition – they need as many people as possible!

The event will offer an opportunity to explore print, and repeat & surface pattern design, and to participate in playing a giant version of ‘HEAD, BODY, LEGS’, using the artwork you create and reverse collage technique to generate a stunning display.

There will be something for all ages and abilities. The session is ideal for children, but also highly recommended for adults who want to experiment and make a mess without the burden of having to clean up afterwards!

All materials and equipment will be provided for this display.

In addition, SSAC will be testing out the idea of an Art Swap Box at the event, where participants bring, take or swap art materials for free, so, if you have any unwanted art materials, please bring them along.

SSAC say they love fancy dress and invite you to come along to the session in a fancy outfit of your choice.

Please register to attend this event as soon as possible so they have an idea of numbers in advance and can plan accordingly.  It is also OK just to turn up on the day, if you are unable to commit now.

Please note children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

SSAC have organised regular street level window exhibitions to shine a light on local talent and to forge new relationships. Their aim is to strengthen community through shared creative experiences.
