Student project to improve hall activities for older people

We are really pleased to currently be working with a team of students from the University of Manchester Business School.

The students are running a research project, focused on activities for older people in Stretford. The aim of the project is to look at the barriers that prevent older people from getting involved in community activities.

In Stretford, almost 40% of older people over 65 yrs live alone. This project will help us to launch new activities for older people and to make sure older people can access activities at the hall.

As part of the project, the research team are surveying older people in Stretford, to get their views.

Anyone over 50 years old is invited to complete the survey, which can be found online here: https://forms.gle/ypX7RgsGKS2HrwaQ6

The survey can also be downloaded, for printing, here. If you complete a paper copy, please drop it in or post it through the front door of the hall.

Paper copies of the survey are also available to complete at Stretford Public Hall.
