Uniform Swap 2026

Stretford Public Hall is once again helping families across Trafford prepare for the new school year by bringing back its popular School Uniform Exchange.

Now in its fourth year, the initiative helps ease the cost of buying school uniforms by providing free new and pre-loved non-logo uniforms, mainly for primary school children.

The School Uniform Exchange will be open from 18–25 August. Opening times are 9.30am–1pm, except on Together Tuesday, when it will be open from 1–3pm.

Families visiting the exchange between 18–25 August will also be able to access support from Bridging the Gap, which has been working alongside Emma at the Stretford Public Hall Community Hub for the past two years. The team will be on hand to offer advice and support to help families manage the cost of living.
