Victoria Park Infants visit for free

Yesterday (30/9/2026), we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Year 2 from Victoria Park Infants to Stretford Public Hall!

What a wonderful group of children they were, so inquisitive, enthusiastic and happy to be here. They asked us so many brilliant questions about the Hall and showed such a genuine interest in its history and the importance of preserving old buildings.

The children listened beautifully and really engaged with our tailor-made interactive presentation, before heading off on a tour of the basement. They then got stuck into some specially created word searches and had the chance to design their very own tiles inspired by the Hall.

It was honestly the best day of our week having these lovely, jolly children with us!

We would love to welcome more schools to Stretford Public Hall and create engaging, hands-on experiences that bring local history and heritage to life.

If your school would like to arrange a visit, please get in touch with Emma at emma@stretfordpublichall.org.uk.

We can’t wait to welcome you!
