Volunteering Annual Report

Once a year we take a look at how we involve volunteers to find out what are we doing well and what could be improved.
This year, over 6,700 people engaged in activities which our volunteers helped to run! Our busy volunteer team have given over 4,200 hours to the local community. We couldn’t support Stretford or run our events without our volunteers’ support.
As we move into our tenth year, our volunteer roles have diversified and our team has grown to 98.
Crucial to our review is involving all our volunteers, new and experienced, and listening to their feedback and suggestions. Download our volunteering annual report to learn more about the impact our volunteers have and the actions we’re going to take in response to their feedback.
And if it tempts you to join the team, check out the volunteer roles available on our website and get in touch!
““I feel connected to the people in my community and it makes me hopeful that despite the political climate, austerity and the scapegoating of people with the least resources, community can achieve dignity for people.”
“It’s made me proud to be a Stretfordian”
