Free visits for local schools!

Stretford Public Hall wants to welcome your school!

Local children and young people in educational settings are welcomed to the hall to hear a tailor-made presentation and do an activity for free, in relation to their topic. Sometimes this can also include tours and the best thing is local schools can walk here (no coaches or transport costs).

In order to help educate young people about philanthropy, community power and the level of work required to maintain this old building, we have tried to secure funding so the visitor does not incur any costs. Stretford Grammar Year 8 will visit SPH in July and The Window Company have agreed to donate £250 to cover the cost of the visit, enabling over 180 children to attend for free. Thank you to the Window Company for their generous support!

We loved welcoming Moss Park recently who have chosen us as their fundraising friends to help us maintain this historic site. Thank you.
