Since June 2024, we’ve proudly hosted the Stretford Repair Café at Stretford Public Hall.
Did you know there are over 2,500 Repair Cafés worldwide?
Our Repair Café runs monthly and welcomes anyone to bring along items that need a little care and attention. Our friendly volunteer tinkerers will do their best to help you fix them and give them a new lease of life.
We have a range of skills available at each session, including general repairs, textiles, electronics, and woodwork.
Alongside the repairs, our volunteer-led café is open throughout, offering drinks and refreshments for you to enjoy while you wait.
Our volunteers will work with you to assess and repair your item where possible, sharing skills and advice along the way. While we can’t guarantee every item can be fixed, we’ll always do our best to help.
Tip: Arrive early to give yourself the best chance of being seen.
