Re-imagining public space in Stretford (for 12-18 year olds)

October 20, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Are you a young person aged 12-18 who cares about the future of public space in Stretford? Then we want to hear from you!

The Placeholders Project team would like to invite you to their events: Re-imagining public space in Stretford.

The Placeholders project is a research initiative between Bruntwood and Creative Manchester which aims to engage young people in town-centre place-making. We want to encourage young people to get involved in the co-design and co-creation of spaces like Stretford Mall. The project workshops will feed into a wider project, being led by Stretford Public Hall, on the development of a Community Improvement District for Stretford.

We will be holding two events on Thursday the 20th and Saturday 29th of October at Stretford Public Hall. This is a chance to have your voice heard by decision makers, councillors and developers and to discuss the future of public space in Stretford with other young people.

There will be free food and drinks on the day. We hope to see you there!
